Mohammed bin Ali Tarazi is one of the first half of 5th century Imamite figures in Iraq. His ancestor and father (Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Muhammad and Abu al-Hassan Ali ibn Muhammad Tarazi) are prominent Sunni scholars that spent firstly in Baghdad and later in Neyshabur. His father is one of the elders of the Khatib al- Baghdadi, and Khatib also narrated his ancestry through him. The only information we have about Muhammad ibn Ali Tarazi and his work. is 23 reports of Ibn Tawoos in his two books, Iqbal and Jamal al-Osboo'. The quotes show that, unlike his father and grandfather, who claimed to be Sunni, Tarazi had strong Imami beliefs. Ibn Tawoos has pity on him in one position and has mentioned him in another position with the respectable title of "Sheikh". The title of his book is the al-Revayat al-shahedat a le-ssadat bel-eabadat. we see Among his references: the book of the works of Rajab by Ibn 'Ayash Juhari, the Book of Prayer by Abu al-Mafadil Shibani, the Book of Prayer and the histori of abo Jafar al-Thani by Muhammad bin Wahban Basri, Majmo' al-Daawat, by Muhammad ibn Harun bin al-Musa al-Talleokbari.
